Excellent sites with good facilities. The park rangers and hosts were helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Be prepared to encounter the campground host who believes it is his personal empire.

We picked a spot to tent w electricity and once arrived realized that it was not a good site for tents. Was easily moved to a more accommodating site and was even refunded for the difference between cost in sites. Thanks. My girls had fun!

So many mosquitos we couldn't do anything outside. Setting up our pop up camper resulted in at least 7 bites each. Close to flush style bathrooms with showers though.

We stayed on lot #12. It was a good spot but, the mosquitoes were very bad and swarmed the area.

We stayed in site #13 - it does have some shade and is close to the lake. It is different than many COE parks in that the sites are pretty close together. The sites are gravel and many are not very level. There is a nice boat launch, swim beach, and pavilion. The bathrooms were very clean.

We usually have our family reunion/fishing tournament that weekend. With the mess up, everyone having to cancel their reservations. Then when the park open again many of our family did not get their reservation back and couldn't get a lot.

The power keeps tripping the breaker on camp site 17 thru 26 on the hottest days. Had to go and get my generator to keep AC running not real happy as this has happened before . Have camped there for many years and get the same results its like they don't care as they keep giving excuses and nothing gets fixed may just have to find a different place to camp in the future.

We were some of the first campers after the storm recovery. The campsite was still messy with downed branches and twigs but it was an easy clean-up. The waterfront was enjoyed by everyone. The first 3 days of our stay was very enjoyable but the last night was ruined by a group of after midnight arrivers who were disrespectful of their neighbors......very noisy and boisterous. I'm not sure they slept at all because they were loud again before 6 AM. I guess I don't know how the campground's quiet hours are supposed to be enforced but it sure would have been nice if the ccampground host or park ranger would have carried that out. The restroom facilities were kept up as best as possible considering some liquid handsoap vandalism all over the floor and a man leaving fish scales and slime in the sink basin which completely plugged the drain. All in the day of a typical public area, I guess! We would definitely recommend this campground.....but have learned it is not ideal to do tent camping on a 4th of July weekend if your goal is peace and quiet!

We really like staying at the East Ashtabula campground.

The campsite was very roomy, however the fire pit was filled with water when we go there and all the grassy surfaces slope downhill, so there is really no good place to put a tent. No cell service, but does have a Hot Spot. That is not a huge deal. Overall was very nice,

First time camping here. The host was very friendly and helpful. Perfect spot for camping with some shade. Everyone (other campers) were super friendly there. Definitely on our list to camp at again.

Stayed during the week so it wasnt crowded. Very nice campground with very friendly hosts. Very peaceful and quiet. Well cared for. Clean restrooms and showers. WiFi signal was pretty weak. We will be coming back.

The 'no alcohol' rule was not enforced and loud parties persisted all night during my visit.

We enjoyed setting up our tent close to Lake Ashtabula. Camp hosts were hospitable. Bathrooms and showers were clean and a treat as we spent an enjoyable 6 days in mid September.We used Ashtabula East Crossing as a basecamp for exploring the gorgeous Shyenne Valley and NE North Dakota.It was memorable to visit Standing Rock, a site for ceremonials and offerings of the Dakota Indians.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
