Glamping bed, furnishings and extra cot were just what 3 of us needed. When we arrived without linens for the cot, the campground host fixed us up with extra linens, very helpful especially their welcoming attitudes.

Yurts are a must.... great access to showers, super awesome for MTB base-camping within the region. Nice bed to come back to after hard rides, and if the weather turns south.... nothing getting wet belongs to you or matters (cars and bikes). Win Win!

Wonderful time at Lake Powhatan The glamping site was wonderful, the surrounding woods, trails and beach were beautiful. The host came to greet us which was a nice touch and very welcoming. The night was very cold and it would have been helpful to have a space heater in the tent. There was a fan for cooler weather, but it would have been great to have thicker blankets or a heater to make it more comfortable. Definitely will return.

Our first "glamping" experience at ages 77 and 75 - quite the adventure AND with our rescue dog Callie. The campsite was excellent, tent was spacious, linens, etc provided! We had electricity in the tent but the one lamp was inadequate for lighting - would recommend a larger pole type light! Campsite was clean and near bathroom facilities all quite adequate. Hosts Jack and RoseMarie were very welcoming, friendly and informative (to be factual they are family) but excellent hosts and welcomers nevertheless. Temps were in high 50's at night, a bit cool so bring extra comforter. Very peaceful and quiet (it's lights out at 9pm and everyone complies (or they are just ready for bed). A positive experience ` we will come back!

Enjoyed our first glamping experience! Nice amenities and great access to hiking trails. It was great to walk down to the lake to cool off after a long day of hiking.

We had an absolutely marvelous time at your beautiful park. Our 'glamp-site' was so much nicer than expected. This was our first glamping experience and were very impressed with what you've accomplished in your first year. The only suggestion we would make is to provide coffee and coffee cups for the coffee maker in our yurt. As it was, we had to make the several mile drive to the nearest grocery store to purchase these items.Keep up the fantastic work. We hope to back in your area again someday, and we will be sure to come to your park to glamp!
