It was beautiful and quiet. We camped along the water's edge, early in November. Look forward to returning soon.

The only reason I did not rate excellent is because the grass is not mowed to my liking. Also the grass along the lake was way too tall.

Been going for years there are signs everywhere you must stay the first night but people are dropping campers in 1st come spots and not showing up until the weekend if they are going to do that all spots need to be reservations only in my opinion other than that everything was fine

The campsite was great. It was very scenic. It was level and the table setup was very nice.
The only problem was fireplace pit had not been cleaned out for a very long time. (Full of trash which we cleaned out even though we did not have a fire). Also, out of 4 showers only 1 was usable. Two were permanently locked and one, the door was not able to be shut tight so it could not be locked. There was plenty of hot water.

Two problems. First, there are at least 3 stray dogs that wander around the campground looking for a handout and then pooping whereever they wish. For Pete's sake, get rid of them. Second, the men's restroom toilet seat is still loose. It was loose last fall and no one at the campground seems to think that's a problem.

Lovely campground, friendly campground hosts, clean showers/restrooms, well spaced sites, level spots (important for RV's). Would camp there in a heartbeat. What could be better than the Natchez Trace NP. Don't pass by the Owl Mounds on your way in to the campground.

A very nice lake side campground, we had a nice level site that was longer than advertised, though you should be aware several of the sites were far from level, so be careful picking the site based on the photos while making reservations. Most of the sites that were out of level seemed to be the ones that are farther away from the water.

Nice campground. It looks like every site has a view of the lake. Great stop along the Natchez Trace Parkway.

Well maintained site with several docks, walking trails, and clean bathrooms. We liked that our spot was immediately adjacent to the lake.

The campground was very clean. The campground was quiet and very relaxing. The camp host visited several times to ensure we had everything we needed. The campsite was level and easy to access.
