I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #6, an E/W, BI site for $15 a night with an America the Beautiful Sr. Pass. The roads and sites were asphalt. Watch the road as it had several good sized potholes and a hard right turn to get out of the lakeside loop. There are two sections of the park – one in a wooded area and one down lakeside. The lakeside sites are more open to the sun, less private and are close to the lake. The sites are spacious and the picnic area has a small table by the raised charcoal grill which was a nice touch. This site was very level. The bathhouse was clean, but the showers were locked. The washer was $1.75 but the dryer was out of order. I had 1 bar LTE with Verizon, 20.1 mbps download speed, no wifi and a small handful of OTA stations. The campground is 4 miles off the Natchez Trace and the road to there is a bit bumpy. The lake has some “spits” built out into the water which were lovely for sitting or fishing from the shore. It is a “no wake” lake so it was really peaceful and quiet. The dump station is kind of narrow. I couldn’t walk between the rig and the shrubs along side. The CG is about 30 minutes from Tupelo. I enjoyed my stay there and would stay again.
