Davis lake is our most favorite place to take our family of 6. We love the location and the atmosphere. We also love the campground host! Becky is always amazing and so accommodating. Only way Davis lake could be better is if it were full hookup! But it sure isn’t gonna keep us from coming ! We looooove Davis lake.

Good value park to stay not far from Tupelo I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #6, an E/W, BI site for $15 a night with an America the Beautiful Sr. Pass. The roads and sites were asphalt. Watch the road as it had several good sized potholes and a hard right turn to get out of the lakeside loop. There are two sections of the park – one in a wooded area and one down lakeside. The lakeside sites are more open to the sun, less private and are close to the lake. The sites are spacious and the picnic area has a small table by the raised charcoal grill which was a nice touch. This site was very level. The bathhouse was clean, but the showers were locked. The washer was $1.75 but the dryer was out of order. I had 1 bar LTE with Verizon, 20.1 mbps download speed, no wifi and a small handful of OTA stations. The campground is 4 miles off the Natchez Trace and the road to there is a bit bumpy. The lake has some “spits” built out into the water which were lovely for sitting or fishing from the shore. It is a “no wake” lake so it was really peaceful and quiet. The dump station is kind of narrow. I couldn’t walk between the rig and the shrubs along side. The CG is about 30 minutes from Tupelo. I enjoyed my stay there and would stay again.

Great quiet little campground. Our site, #18, was right on the lake and across from the bath house and laundry. It was great in November (didn't need shade). Convenient to the Natchez Trace and Tanglefoot Trail, four and five miles away, on which we rode our bikes. Clean campground and facilities.

Always have a great time at the Lake. We enjoy just sitting around talking to new friends. Only negative thing is grass is always in need of cutting. Especially around the shower/rest room area.
The campground was clean except for grills and fire pits. The host have plenty of time to perform this task. Need to open all showers. Other than that everything was fine.

Sweet little park. We stayed in early January and appeared to be only 1 of 3, other than a camp host. Sites are nicely spaced. We had one directly on the lake. We reserved and paid online, and drove directly to our site. There was no gate or office, no signage posted to show our reservation, and no one came by to check on us. This was no problem for us as we are pretty independent. Due to COVID, we did not use the bathrooms, and it rained all day one of the 2 days we stayed. A bonus was the availability of a washer and dryer which we saw, but did not use. Uncommon for a state park in our experience. We would stay at Davis Lake again.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
