Campsite was emaculat and great locker to prevent critters, however the bathrooms need some help.

Juniper Springs campground is fantastic! We stayed in the Sand Loop, which seemed to give each site more privacy. Water spigots are dispersed throughout, so theres just a short walk necessary. The springs are crystal clear and beautiful. We didnt swim, but we did kayak the 7 mile runawesome! All of the staff we encountered were welcoming and informative. Well be back for sure!

Having to walk into very cold water is almost painful . Have everyone sign a no-fault release when checking in, and jump in like normal !

Beautiful, clean campground in a beautiful part of the National Forest. Bathrooms/bathhouses were well cleaned/maintained. Park workers we interacted with were friendly and helpful at all points. Main spring run is among the most beautiful paddling trips in Florida or anywhere (but be warned, not for novices) and Fern Hammock Spring (look only) is one of the gems of Florida. Unfortunately the fun of the trip and tranquility of the rec area was offset by apparent lack of anyone enforcing quiet time whatsoever, as multiple other campers in our loop (Tropical Loop) were up late into the night 1. loudly playing music from their RV speakers (this had been going on earlier in the day for some time); 2. playing guitar and loudly singing (immediately next to the previous site, seemingly as loud as they could like maybe they were competing? sounding very Janis Joplin-esque); and 3. yet a third group playing a loud (maybe drunken? they didn't seem to grasp they only needed 3-foot or so voices) game of would-you-rather for everyone to hear. All this could have been solved by having a ranger (or whoever, the operation appears to have been subcontracted out/privatized) periodically circle around quiet time like state parks. Possibly related to above, boardwalk path and other assorted wooden parkitecture (fenceposts, etc) outside of main spring pavilion were in disrepair. Hopefully temporarily, though there was no signage or other clues to indicate that these things will be fixed. Hopefully they are on it.
