The trails have been closed for years and camping fees have increased. No hookups not much to see. Not worth the money.

The boardwalks have been in disrepair for the past few years. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

We rented kayaks and had an enjoyable time. Not for beginners though. The staff are friendly. The bathrooms need updating and were cleaned regularly.

A wonderful place to spend a few days, the springs were a welcome cool-off spot after a day on the trails! Big plots with plenty of space and fire pits, nice and quiet and zero light pollution for stargazing. The only downside was a lot of the boardwalks in Juniper Springs were closed with debris and dis-repair, presumably following Hurricane Ian, but other trails open nearby - we completed the Yearling Trail loop. Will definitely be back!

We had a beautiful campsite. Large and private. The shower was cold twice during our 5 day stay. The only thing to do there was walk the Florida Trail which we did but had to drive 10-20 miles for restaurants or the Barberville Emporium and even farther to Silver Springs. There are no hookups so we used our generator and one night a neighbor came into our campsite to complain about the noise. It set up a stressful time for the rest of our stay. Even though we enjoyed our stay there because of the nice campsite and beauty of the area, we probably wont stay there again.

Good potential, but too many rules and closures to have fun.

Sites are nice, some are a little short for longer rigs. Cant wait for the spring run to open up again at the park.

The area was beautiful. There was a recreation area with a spring and a great walking path. Bathrooms were well kept. Unfortunately it was near impossible to enjoy the outdoors as noise was a major issue. Between one group blasting music for hours to our neighbors running their generator/RV all night long it was tough to relax and enjoy the serine environment. Another major factor was military jets flying overhead (not quite the park's fault but very disruptful all the same).

Beautiful natural Florida park. Springs were crystal clear and some people were swimming. Great history.

I loved that the sites on our loop (sand) were private and how easy it was to access the springs and short trails in the areas. The only reason why I’m giving it a 4 star review instead of 5 is that the bathroom on our loop was small and outdated. It didn’t have a dishwashing station. We would have to walk to the next loop in order to wash our dishes.
The kayak run was beautiful and truly shows Wild Florida. Due to COVID they don’t offer pick up at the kayak drop off at the end of the 7 mile run, so you need to arrange to have someone pick you up.

Beautiful campground and property. Sites well positioned in the sand hill spots! Take all the walks through the park and FLA trail head.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
