staff was over the top friendly, very personable. Exactly what I expect when we visit the park. Its our 32 year and the staff has been phenomenal lately. Facilities were clean and inviting.

Used to camp here regularly when my kids were growing up but had not been in a number of years. Juniper Springs was still the same as I remember. The grounds were well taken care of and the campground was too, bathrooms were spotless and I did walk around all 3 campgrounds and the trails. I was disappointed that the boardwalk trail was closed I think from damage caused by Hurricane Ian and then Nicole last year (2022). I am sure there is a funding shortage for that sort of thing but I hope it can be worked on soon and back open again and we will be back again now we are staying closer to hom.

Beautiful park. The mill was closed passed the time it had said on the web site for repairs.

Juniper Springs is a great place to camp. My few issues have to do with the new concessioner, changing checkout time to 1100 is to early if you are a tent camper. This needs to be moved back to at least noon. Also why were the canoes sold off, I miss the Juniper Creek run. Also the run is not being maintained like it has been in the past, also the store is not open enough,

As always the park was well maintain and the campsites are always cleaned to make your stay comfortable. My issues are with the new concessioner, they have removed all rental canoes, the store is not opened and their checkout times being moved up to 11am makes it very difficult to pull up camp if you are a tent camper. Lastly they removed from the Tropical Loop the small amount first come, first served sites. This makes it difficult to obtain a site if you wanted to make last minute camping decision.

We had a great experience. The entire staff was very polite and knowledgeable. The bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean as with the rest of campground and park.We got exactly what we wanted, a nice quiet time to unplug. Note: There are some renovations under way. The old mill is being renovated along with the concession/rental shop and part of the boarded walkway (all natural trails and bridges crossing water are open). Last, if youre kayaking (with your own), the run is one way and you need a vehicle at the end of the 6 mile run to bring you back because the park does not have the shuttle running because the concession/rental is closed.Juniper Springs is definitely worth a visit.

The facilities were good, but the other campers near us were noisy. The first night there was a group of adults loudly cursing. The next two nights there was a group of several families with their children running around. The next two nights there was an RV running a loud generator. It would have been nice to eat a meal in camp without those distractions. Also, there was not clear instructions posted that those in the campground would need to pay for access to the river with our own kayaks. We enjoyed the Juniper River immensely, though. Thankful that it was open during COVID.

Changing the checkout time from 1 pm to 11 am makes it very difficult for campers to get the campsite broken down in time. Also the bathroom showers are in great need for maintenance and repair.

Juniper Springs is my #1 favorite campground in the state. It has so much to offer and itโ€™s campsites are a good size to enjoy your private time.
The canoe run is second to none in the state of Florida.

Beautiful, well maintained rec area. Incredible paddling opportunity (7-mile long Juniper Run), beautiful swimmable springs. Very clean restrooms and showers. Campsites under unique mix of tropical trees. Very professional, friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back for sure.

Beautiful springs a much to explore at Juniper. The campsites are in a section of old growth forest and are well shaded from the tree canopy. Campsites are large for the most part. No water, sewer or electric for your RV but there are potable water spigots scattered around. Theres a dump station as well. Bathrooms with showers are centrally located in each loop. The canoe run is great. It may pose a challenge to beginners due to the many twists and turns.
