Our family has been visiting/camping Juniper Springs for over 50 years and every time we visit we have a great time, and this time was not exception. It is unfortunate though that the dive platform has been blocked off and that the nature path/board walk has not been kept up and is now closed. It is also sad to see the "children's" area has been removed, there is no where that small children can stand and play in the water. If you plan to visit during the week, be sure to bring food and snacks as the snack bar/store is not open during the week.

Campsite 29 was excellent but had some trail traffic. Beautiful springs and campground. Very peaceful even on a busy weekend.

Our family really enjoyed camp at Juniper Springs. We came in early Feb. and although most of the days were only in the mid to high 60s we still decided to jump in the springs and swim awhile! Although it was cold it was nice to have the water to ourselves. If you have a mask and snorkel I recommend bringing them because it makes a big difference in the experience! The staff was very pleasant and helpful also!

Juniper springs is nice but the area was under construction while we were there.

Wonderful, mostly shady campground in a magical spot. We visited with our 45' long rig of truck and 24' Travel Trailer. The roads are tight and the trees are close. We squeezed into our pull-through campsite. The bathrooms/showers are nice and clean and close by. The springs are heavenly! The walking trails around the place are numerous and it is easy to loose your way. They have a boardwalk nature trail that is currently closed and looks like it needs to be repaired badly. We visited Silver Springs, Salt Springs and Alexander Springs. We kayaked at Silver and Salt Springs. We hope to be back and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in an RV with a group of 3 others in RV. We were shocked to be greeted by park staff who drove around harassing everyone in the campground! I had a knock at my door while eating dinner, park staff said I had a tire that was off the site pad. I said ok, would you like me to move? He said no, actually now that I look at it, your fine. Later that night, a different guy comes bye and does the same thing! I told him what the other guy said. Nevertheless, I move my truck. In the morning, I get another notice, in writing on my windshield! Our other friends were greeted with similar experiences as well! Aside from all that- we were taken back by how poorly maintained the kayak run was, especially being charged $10.70 per kayak to launch! Be aware that the entire 7 plus mile run will be greeted with brush, branches and even entire trees in your face, several sections practically impassable. We all decided, this is not a place we would return for future trips

Over the last 33 years of camping (100 of us) for the week of Thanksgiving at Juniper Springs, the entire park staff is always so friendly and accommodating and this year was no exception with the new management team, Heather & Sean. The Girls in the gate house are awesome as well especially Denise, always very helpful. It's also always nice to see Brian year after year keeping the Loops in good shape too. Can"t wait til next year!George E Tschudi Jr T.F.C.OTschudi Family Camp Out

If you like camping right next to your neighbor in open spaces I guess it’s ok. The camp grounds we had, had large roots from the tree which made it impossible to walk around the campsite without to really watching where you walk!! Won’t be Going back there😩

An absolutely magical place to stay. Quit, away from the typical Florida tourist places.Older campground, but well kept. Note for RVers; no electrical service. The hosts are outstanding friendly people who go out of their way to help where needed.

Poor maintenance of the park: elevated pathways and nearly all site structures are closed due to need for repairs. Elevated pathway repairs would be easy to do (I am an architect) therefore there is non excuse. Canoeing is closed "due to covid". Another excuse. Important to know the reason people love the park is for canoeing and elevated scenic walkways.
