Overall it was a great experience. I brought my 19 and 16 y/o daughters and their boyfriends. When we got to our site (007), we were hesitant because it was right in front of the facilities. It was actually quite convenient having the dish washing area so close by. I would just recommend the campground plant more foliage on the left side of the drive to make it more private so 007 rentals dont feel like theyre on show. The Springs were a bit cold and most of the trails were closed down due to construction or clearing required. I would call ahead to see if the hiking trails are open first. Hope you enjoy this camp as much as my family and I did!

While some commented about site 7 being in a noisy area do too it's proximity to the bathroom/shower , I would say if this is your first time camping , especially with kids , you might consider it as ideal. I really did not have issue with any excessive noise , with the exception of the trailer that needed the AC running all day in 70 " weather , not turning the generator off until campsite rules forced them too but other than that it was peaceful and Its only a short walk to the spring as well

Roadway, campsite, restrooms, and showers were clean and functional for our purposes bike camping. Website is misleading saying no potable water at campsites when actually there is potable water at standpipes throughout the grounds. We unnecessarily carried extra water; which is quite heavy.

We stayed here for 3 nights. My only issue was that our particular site (007) was directly in front of the bathrooms with no privacy. We walked the other loops and no other campsite had the amount of exposure we had. So don't choose that site if you like peace, quiet, and privacy. The bathrooms were clean though and everything about the camping experience was great. The kayak run was gorgeous and the rapids were super fun. If you're not comfortable on a kayak they suggest you go to Alexander Springs for an easier run and I totally agree, the maneuvering was tricky and you're on the run for 7 miles so if you're struggling at all, it's for a long long time. The swimming area was very nice and not super busy as we were there right after Christmas so it was chilly. Totally worth the time and money though, we loved it.

The lady there didn't help us and I needed a refund due to no hookups there also attempting to use the website for a refund was also bad and I never got one.

We had an amazing time. Campground and facility was clean and very well kept. Lifeguard at the Spring was attentive and it was clear that safety was her #1 priority. 10 out of 10 will definitely recommend.

We loved the springs. The camp ground was very welcoming and easy to get around. We hate that our dog couldnt be in the area of the springs because camping with a dog meant only one parent could go with the kids and they other had to stay back with the dog. Also all the wooden tails were closed so we werent able to explore as much as we would have liked and didnt see anything posted prior to booking. Quite time was also not enforced and unfortunately there were kids climbing on the bathroom, flipping over the cigarette butt holder, trashed the bathrooms and yelled and screamed well past midnight.

Our overall experience was good. Beautiful campgrounds with decent sized sites and some with fair privacy. Check in and employee interaction was good. My only complaints are for restroom cleanliness and boardwalk closures. I realize that boardwalks need repairs after years of use and hope a rebuild is in the parks future plans. Access to the springs, pools and creek are important. The campground restroom was not adequately cleaned during my stay. A plumbing leak also made the problem worse. However it was spring break and the campgrounds were full so the bathrooms were heavily used.

2 Weeks in January. Beautiful campground. Hosts were great. Weekends get crowded and noisy. Overall a nice stay. Do the spring run, not for beginners. Lots of tree cover if you are planning solar.

We loved the campground. The setting is great, the natural pool a highlight. It was also nice that the grill had a grate so we could roast steaks. The showers etc. are simple but clean. All in all: a wonderful experience, close to nature. Thank you!

It was a nice park. We didn't have a great site, we could barely fit 2 4-man tents. We would choose one of the other loops for a return trip. The spring was great. If they rent kayaks or canoes for the river run that would be ideal. Facilities were awesome and clean.

The campsite was ok (no water or electricity), but there were more things at the park that you can't do than things you can do. No swimming, no wading, no pets on the trails in the park (although the Florida Trial goes right by the park that you can take your pet on) no walking on the boardwalk, no drones, no alcohol, etc. In other words, no fun.
