Had a wonderful time at Juniper Springs! Very nice campground with clean facilities and big sites. Would definitely go again!

The springs are awesome for a swim and a great kayak paddle trip with awesome scenry. The campgrounds are nice and clean but only 1 toilet and shower for men and 1 toilet and shower for women so lines at the toilets and showers, although the shower is behind the toilet and seperate. In 4 days I was there I only had cold showers. The water heaters cannot handle the traffic. It would be great if they would install instant water heaters so each guest can have a hot shower especially since the camping fees are high. I could river camp and bath in the river water and it been warmer and cheaper. Also the showers need a curtain or door so the water is not sprayed all over the clean dry clothes sitting on the benches. The staff I did see were all friendly and nice. I would still go back simply because I love paddling the springs/river, but I would want a substantial discount for taking a cold shower.

I would have loved to have given five stars; however it was bike week and we heard motorcycles ALL night long. Thought we were far away enough from the main road for this to not be an issue. Other than that it was beautiful, very much enjoyed kayaking down the river. Some mentioned it was "intermediate", I thought it was fun, with a few slight obstacles (had few trees we had to paddle around and under) made it interesting and as I said FUN.

The campsites were excellent, but so many other areas were closed off.

So peaceful. The spring was just perfect, loved swimming in it. Also has an amazing 7 mile long kayak run from the spring. Because of covid, they no longer shuttle, but there are people that will do it for an additional cost.
