Campsites were great, boardwalk in disrepair.

Camp sites were well spaced. Shower facilities were clean. Staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Taking the kayaks down Juniper Run was well worth it. Only drawback was the closure of some of the boardwalk and hiking trail. Once these repairs are completed this will definitely be a Five-Star spot.

Fair, because it has great bathrooms, clean, and hot water. There was a big issue with the ticks. Everyone got ticks over their bodies. Service animals where flooded with those. Poor animals had to go to the vet to get checked. People had to take antibiotics because of it.

I love camping and the outdoors to get away from noise and "city" life. But my last experiences at Juniper Springs have been dissappointing. Generators are running for most of day, loud music. I expected to wake up hearing birds....but no, all I heard was the drone of a generator(s). If people absolutely cannot not live without electricity.....go to a campground with hook ups. Do not plan on returning to this campground.

We made 2 night reservations for the intent purpose of paddling Juniper Run. We have expedition grade expensive SeaEagle canoe and kayak. Very disappointed that inflatables of this quality are denied. Said boats are allowed in other wilderness areas that are far more treacherous. I recognize the need of such rule but should be enforced in spirit, not letter. Tried to appeal to USFS and got voicemail saying leave a message.

We have been disappointed the last two times we have been there because of the boardwalks being closed down due to repair issues.

Popped onto this Recreation sight while traveling to Florida. One of the prettiest and nicest places we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. No facilities at any of the sights but does offer water filling sites throughout the park. Also has a dump station you can use anytime. We will be back. Only downside was no same day reservations available online.

Juniper Springs is a very nice campground. The facilities are clean and well ordered. The park staff is friendly. The sites are nicely wooded, with narrow winding roads between them. The campsites are very private. We used the boat launch to kayak on the Juniper Springs Run, which is a wonderful experience. The organization at the boat launch was excellent, dont forget to by access tickets at the front gate. We have a 22 foot travel trailer and a Ford pickup. Total length is 43 feet. There are many sites where this combination of vehicles will not fit, so make sure that you pick a site long enough for your vehicles. Parking off the pavement is not permitted and enforcement of this rule is rigorous.

The price was not good for not having any Elect. Their price was a the same as having Elect. We probably will find somewhere else next time. Before their price went up it was a great place.
