We had a warm welcome at check in, our site was clean, spacious and felt somewhat private. Everything was clean and I loved that they had the bear lockers to store items in. The spring was great too!

It was disappointing that we were not notified ahead of time that the boat ramp to access the spring run was closed. It would also be nice if some repairs were done to the board walks and picnic shelters. The staff was pleasant

Bathrooms didn't work consistently. Paddling Juniper spring, Silver Spring and Ocklawaha River is awesome!

The campground was beautiful, clean, and easy to navigate. We paddled the run and it was a fun adventure. We loved our time there.

Beautiful springs, tropical plant life at campsite. Quiet campground even on the weekend! We'd definitely stay again!

This campground is very nice. The sites are spaced nicely. The bathrooms were cleaned and maintained. The shower was also large, clean with plenty of hot water. The lady at the gate was very helpful. All campers where respectful . Wish I could have stayed longer.

The facility is not well maintained with the current management concessionaire. The bathrooms are filthy and the one worker we talked to tried to dissuade us from kayaking the Juniper Spring Run based on our age alone. This run is easily accomplished by novice kayakers. It may take a little longer if you are not very experienced, but it is certainly doable. The $10 fee is absurd for your own kayaks. I have never paid so much to launch my own kayak. The whole vibe of the campground is negative. DO NOT signs everywhere. The boardwalks are closed and there is absolutely nothing in the mill house. What a shame to waste such beautiful land and nature. I'm sure this is not what the benefactor envisioned for his land.

First and foremost the staff are excellent. The campsites are clean and maintained. The bath houses are sparkling clean. The swimming area is exceptional! Why the mediocre rating? The rest of the park, including trails and public areas are in serious disrepair. The trail is so bad they closed it off! I understand if they needed to do maintenance, but this has been the situation for a couple of years! Are they ever going t bring this park back to what it used to be? I've been visiting and camping in this park for over 50 years! My first visit when I was 10 years old. What a shame to watch one of Florida's jewels go down the drain.

Very nice campsite, lots of privacy with palmettos surrounding our site. Well drained (helps when it rains), extremely well maintained. The springs are beautiful, of course. Not much cell service was the only downside. We definitely recommend.

Juniper Springs is a special place and worth the trip. The campsites are well kept and facilities are good. It still retains the camping feel. A bit of highway noise throughout the night and early morning. If you are in a tent you will hear the semi trucks going by. The Springs are amazing. We visited the week between Christmas and New Years 2020 and the "river run rentals" were not open. Also no shuttle to return you back to the spring headwaters. Also the board walk hike was closed. My family wants to return to do the run but this could be sometime with the continued effects of COVID.

Denise and staff are always so nice. This would be my 5th time back to this location and can't wait for our next trip to relax in the Beautiful Springs. We requested a few bundles of firewood and when we got back to the camp it was placed inside the bear box for us. Super convenient. Trails are great. we got to see a small bear minding he's own business on the tree tops nearby. What an amazing experience to see nature. We also had a few large birds swoop down into or sight. Unbelievable experience.
