This is a paved pull through that was level. It was a bit tight for our 40’ 5th wheel due to a tree on the driver’s side. The site is large with a table, fire pit and bear box. It is surrounded by a lush forest of pine trees deciduous trees and palm trees.

Amphitheatre needs some TLC.
Dump station is one way as you exit the park.
Entrance station manned by a concessionaire.
Flush toilets.
Ice for sale at the entrance station.
Kayak/ canoe launch for the Juniper Springs run.
Kayaks for rent to do the Juniper Springs run. Shuttle service also available.
Large dumpsters located at the exit.
Large free showers.
One of several restrooms.
Swimming area.
Very few hiking trails in the park, with all trails leading to the springs. All the boardwalks were closed due to damage. The Florida Trail does pass through the park.

The forest was beautiful. My family had an amazing trip. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

We were only able to sleep there as our days were consumed by the art show we were in. Our site was very nice and I wish we had more time to enjoy the park.

The main downside, which is out of the parks hands is the rainfall. Some of the canp grounds would get flooded. It'll be nice to know which ones do and don't get flooded butnagain out of the parks hands.

Served our purpose. Got there at 9:30 at night. Pull through-perfect!

Very nice day use swimming area at main springs and short trail to very interesting "bubbling" springs are both easy walk from campsites. Clean restrooms and showers. CCC constructed mill building with small museum was being refurbished. Be aware campsites have occasional highway noise from nearby route 40 and some occasional low flying military jet traffic using local training area (possibly only during the day).

We and our friends have made annual trips to Juniper Springs Campground for 25+ years. It is one of our favorite places to camp. This year however, was different. The staff was very rude, overbearing, and extremely critical of everything we did. Our group had five campsites for 7 days. We have never been harassed at any campground, anywhere as we were on this trip. I spoke to several other not so happy campers that felt the same way.
