Perfect outdoors getaway with lot's of canopied trees, roomy camp sites, includes a picnic table, fire pit, grill, and bearproof storage. Just bring firewood, charcoal, tent etc.Nice Clean Bathrooms have showers. Amenities include swimming, kayaking, or walking trails including the Florida Scenic Trail is close by.

Would be nice to have a power site. However great cover and neat swim area.

This place is operated by a vendor whos not done a very good job of training its employees. Will not list full descriptions of disappointments but will say that staff is generally unfriendly and often-times antagonistic. Since this is a dry camping facility it would very much benefit from having generator-free loops. The smog and noise from big diesel Class A rigs was often overwhelming. On the plus side, there are many very nice sites available unfortunately we got a pretty crappy one. The staff could not allow us to move to any of the other nicer sites, we would have to contact Recreation.gov to change our reservations (always a real joy). The staff had no means of doing this and didnt seem to have any visibility into the current status of their campsites. This would be a much nicer place if it had a better-trained staff and some flexibility to choose any of the open sites. A generator-free area would be a HUGE plus.

Nice park. Showers were not at all hot but was thankful to have them. Overall, good experience and plan to go back.

Quiet, secluded campsites. Nice walk to the springs. On the Flordia National Scenic trail for longer hikes. Amicable employees. Nice showers and clean bathrooms.

Facilities were extremely clean on my loop and included showers. Campsites were standard, and pretty close together, but included a paved driveway, bench, fire pit, grill, bear box, and a place to hang a lantern. Springs were really nice, but the nature boardwalk over the scenic parts of the springs were closed, same with the canoe rental and run - I believe due to Covid. Only the swimming area was open, so if you are staying for more than a day, you may want to check ahead or pick one of the many other nearby campsites with adjoined springs, since there is not a whole lot to explore here with those features closed. If you're just looking for a place to car camp, then this was your standard fare. They sell bags of firewood at the gate for $8 or $9. Overall very good experience.

The camp overall is really beautiful and well planned out. The trails all around camp is really nice, the spring pool is amazing and there's lots of hiking opportunities around. I just have one complaint... I camped in a little teardrop trailer camper, so I had to camp where RV's usually camp. I didn't think it would be a problem... until one after the other RV would have their generator running, sometimes for up to 3 hours! My nature experience sitting out by my campfire became a loud continual rumbling of generators. Too bad, I think they should maybe not allow any generators in this otherwise peaceful, surrounded by nature area. Let those RV'ers go to camps with hookups, and let us that want to be out in nature enjoy the peace and quiet we were hoping to get.
