We had such a wonderful evening at Juniper Springs. We stayed at Fern 63 which was nice and private in a more shaded area. The vegetation is really beautiful there and the springs were pretty. The swimming area is basically a large pool with beautiful bubbly spring water. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is that some of the paths and bridge are closed. Hope they can open that up again. There was a super pretty pond/springs area beyond the bridge that you could only get to by walking all the way around and go through the campground. Overall, we loved it!

The tent campsites are roomy and private. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The park is a beautiful place and appears to be well cared for.

Overall a good experience. The spring was beautiful and campsites were kept cleaned.Beware, critters are out so do not leave any food/items unattended. The campsites can be a little close to each other but overall, a beautiful place. Im only giving it 3 stars because noise/quiet hours are not enforced here. Our neighbors were out partying until 3 AM and nothing was done. Next time I would maybe just visit for the day.

The camp site was spacious, nice fire pit, had a charcoal grill area, bear box was spacious. Nice level area for tent. Disappointed in lack of activity availability ... trails were closed for maintenance, spring area was more like a spring-fed pool than a natural spring, and unfortunately had a family with a child that screamed (not normal running and playing yelling) for an hour ... after dark, as well as later at night. Would not go back with all the other options around.

The staff is excellent! When checking in and when renting kayaks for the Juniper Springs run, the forest service employees were very friendly and helpful. The pick up from our kayaking was also timely and efficient. We were very happy with our stay and the kayaking.

Group campsite behind us was allowed to party and blast loud music until 10 pm then right away in the morning all day. Loud, kids, rude and no security available.

Very pleasant and mostly peaceful. Just enough amenities without being a resort hotel feel. Campsite was perfect for us. Rain on the first night was so refreshing for the humans but not for our dog. He gets nervous, so our air mattress turned into a bouncy house for an hour or so. We will definitely return.

It was a nice stay at the campground but facilities at the campground were not open while we stayed there.

Very nice, quiet campground. Very clean bathrooms and the staff seemed very attentive to the campground making the 'rounds daily. I feel that if there was something not right, like too much partying or loud guests they would handle it. I would like to see either improvements done on the boardwalk (it was closed) and some of the other older structures or just remove the failing shelters that were in the camping area. The main area around the swimming spring seemed to be the most updated and adequate for use by day and campers alike. We actually cancelled reservations to Blue Springs State Park mid trip since we heard the manatees were all gone and the swimming area was open and opted to "bookend" our Florida trip at Juniper Springs again. The only local activity we did was go to Silver Springs State Park which is nice, that was also going through some renovations, but I got some great pictures of fish and bird life.We plan on using this campground in the future when exploring the northern part of the state.
