Went on a Wednesday and had the entire campground to myself. Fantastic. Always enjoy my stays here at Juniper, but still disappointed that absolutely no effort is going into restoring the trails and walkways.

There is a camp store here that closes at 1pm. It may be open longer on weekends. The kayaking run is great but challenging for beginners. It's about 30 minutes or so from Ocala and Silver Springs state park, another great place for kayaking. Campground was well shaded with clean bathrooms. If you're coming for the day and it's a weekend, come early. Would definitely camp here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is about a 10-minute walk to the springhead from this site and we like camping here so that we can get out on Juniper Run early for kayaking. This loop is in a gorgeous area of cabbage palm hammock and is very nicely shaded. We did hear some raccoons nearby and saw one at the edge of our campsite early one morning.

Very nice spot. I just wish the camps were spread out a little more. But over all very good.

The park has required a lot of repair since 2023 and trail areas still remain closed. I would recommend beginning repairs on the park considering the prices have increased.

Usually a quaint nice campground and fun spring. However, there is absolutely no enforcement of the two tent, 5 person per site max. We stayed and there seem to be a reunion with drinking until 3am in a main site. Chainsaws could be heard well after hours. Later they brought a trailer and ATV through and were riding it around. We reported it the next day, and found there is no one to contact after hours. There is no host. We wont return now. We left a day early even.

Juniper Springs is one of our favorite campgrounds. The staff is wonderful, the spring is beautiful and the campsites are great. The Florida trail goes right by the park making endless hiking a possibility. When we stay here we do a day trip to Silver Springs which is only a 25 minute drive. At Silver Springs we can paddle board the whole day while enjoying monkeys and manatees.

We have always loved Juniper Springs and have been camping her for the last 50 years. Apparently, it is now though on the lowest level of the budget list as it is in such disrepair. All of the boardwalks and most bridges over the springs are closed. At least the pool spring is still open as many were enjoying it. I've never seen it this bad, maybe the Park Service is letting it go back to nature? I don't know, I hope it gets help soon.

This is a beautiful location that unfortunately has been allowed to fall into disrepair. Everything about the campsites and bath house was fine, and the swimming area is also usable. However, things are obviously being neglected, many to the point of being roped off and inaccessible to visitors.

Im used to camping during the week when its very peaceful. It was until Friday evening when large groups started arriving. Its fun to gather together and play music and have a good time, but its disturbing to others. Just a heads up for people who want nighttime quiet. Dont go on the weekend. .

Our site was very private and felt like sleeping in a tropical forest.
Swimming in the spring was fantastic. Hikes around the site were beautiful and nice to see a lot of wildlife.

Juniper is beautiful

Having firewood for sale was very convienent.

The women at rhe gatwhouse were very polite abs helpful. When I checked in and the following day when I went to ask questions.

It was a little sad that the trails were all closed. But it did apples to be the result of hurricane damage. I hope it get fixed soon.

Overall the park was as beautiful as my childhood memories of it. It was wonderful.

I also met a guy and we are having a wonderful romance. Which we attribute to the beautiful energy of the spring.

Thank you to all the park staff for doing a good job.

We were fortunate to pick one of the better sites in the tent camping area.

Nice sites....almost all in wooded areas. Disappointing that you can no longer jump or dive into the spring....people have enjoyed doing just that since 1936....why are we no longer trusted to be responsible for our own actions?? Sad for all....

We loved visiting Juniper Springs. Campsite #74 is a perfect size and gives you a lot of seclusion from the other sites in the Fern Loop. The staff was incredibly kind and we enjoyed being able to talk with them daily. My husband and I enjoyed how close it was to the Florida Trails (which we walked 15 miles on one of the days) and that we could go in the spring during the Winter!

We cannot wait to come back!
