The staff is amazing as always. It sure would be great to have the boardwalk and Fanning Springs open.

The springs are lovely with the historical ambiance parks built during the CCC eta are known for. The campsites are too close together and because they do not have power there are a lot of generators running. The only place where we could walk our dog was on the campground loop. They charged us $8 to book online which brought the cost of the campground to $22/ night - overpriced, in our opinion.

The staff are professional and friendly. The Campsites and bath houses are clean and comfortable. It is sad that the boardwalk trails are still closed since they have always been a major draw for me. Kayaking is now difficult to impossible with only one vehicle. Perhaps you can employ a private company to provide reverse hauls for paddlers. Another idea is to have a community sign-up board for paddlers that can share rides to / from the takeout. The generator noise was much more that previously experienced even with only three RVs running them all day. The noise was really irritating and and over powering.

Tropical sites are excellent, shaded and private. and away from highway noise. Shout out to the hosts Brigit, Karen and Denise who were exceptional, friendly and helpful. They all provided insight, local information and were very welcoming. A highly recommended experience. Bear boxes, clean hot showers and shade in Tropical sites

We had site #19 and it was a great site. It was close to the wall path to the swimming springs and the boils. Far enough from the bathroom that we were not bother by noise or lights. The site was clean and well maintained. The bear box was amazing and huge. We put all our food and stoves in it at night. The other campers were respectful of the no noise rule after 10p. We want to camp here again.

The board walks used to be a major draw for camping here. They have not been open and accessible since the park has been managed by Adventure Ocala.Kayaking is also a major reason to camp here. it would be nice to see a reverse haul service put back into place.

There is no electricity at this campground which is a plus for many. Unfortunately, you don't get peace and quiet due to multiple generators, inconsideratation of other campers in regard to said generator use, and lackluster enforcement of quiet hours. The hours of quiet could be extended by an hour in the morning and shortened by one in the eve and it would help.

No wood, no rentals, no ice, a lot of open spaces first come first serve and the park employees keep saying it was full and I did not understand that.
