Fantastic recreation area with a beautiful spring and run. Kayaking is as good as it gets. I wish the trails and boardwalks were opened and maintained seems like they need a major overhaul. Camping was great

Stayed at Ocala national forest to paddle Juniper Springs. Wonderful camp ground, shaded and superb camping accommodations. The kayak rental was easy and efficient. This is a must see kayaking spring. Look forward to next visit with little warmer weather.

The Park campground is awesome,..nice sites, electric,water, and sewer. The campground store is well stocked. We went to camp, and have access to the river for kayaking. We were disappointed to find a gate blocking access to the river, and would have had to to carry our boats a long ways to the water. This distance was enough to discourage our plans, and we just left our boats on the truck.

They put me in the wrong style of campsite, my fire pit was broken. Every aspect of park closed. All trails and boardwalks closed for repairs. Locals said its been like that for a long time because they dont want to put money into anything. All signage is worn and almost un-readable. I did NOT have a good time the week i was there. i left early because of it all.

I love Juniper, Ive camped there since I was a kid. My sons and granddaughter camped for three nights recently. It was lovely. The staff is pleasant and very helpful.

We wanted to do Kayak and no place to rent on site. The trail near the Spring was also close. So for the price, the only thing that we were able to do is swim in the Spring.

I think I speak for seniors in general when I speak to the fact that only those that are website savvy can stay at the campground. I could not even add another night to my stay with the check in rangers . Often times folks camp to fre themselves from technology.

Overall, the Juniper Springs campground is well-maintained and sites are of a reasonable size. Unfortunately, during our first night in the campground there were extremely loud people at a nearby site - hooting and hollering until about 3 a.m. No one came to enforce quiet hours. Oddly, the bathhouse had no outlets to plug in a hair dryer, which is a first in all the years I have been camping. (Also, there are no electrical hookups at this campground.) There is no heat at all in the bathhouses in the event of freezing weather. (In contrast, a state park in Georgia placed space heaters in the bathrooms during cold weather.) To make matters worse, the bathhouse fans at Juniper Springs blow cold air down into the shower areas and cannot be turned off. Shower sprays can't be directed, and the slope of the floors causes water to drain improperly - showers soaked everything, including clothing on hooks and shoes placed beyond the edge of the shower area.

Perfect time of year to go to Juniper Springs! Went thru the week - weather was great, few people camping. Facilities were nice - very clean bathrooms, firewood available to purchase. Be sure to not park on the pavers or you could be fined - I was asked to move my truck. Plenty of hiking trails around - go explore!

Please re open the board walk and Kayak Rentals. We enjoyed that beautiful section!!!Bathrooms where extreme clean. We went for a week and it was cleaned regularly. Dish washing Room was such a great feature. Staff as always is very pleasant and love to see them each time we go. Couldnt believe they recognized us from previous trips. Cant wait to go back!

It is dry camping in a beautiful setting. Roomy camp sites surrounded by sub tropical vegetation. Nice clean bath houses. Close to several other springs. We drove to Palm Coast one day and moved on to Gulf Coast for our next stay.

We stayed in campsite 28 and were right by the bathrooms. It was a beautiful campground. We camped with our 4 kids. We loved the springs and the beauty of the great outdoors.
