This park is wildly overpriced, compared to similar parks in that part of Florida. The tenting area itself was fine, but water sources were not close, there was no electricity, and the shower facility was so stripped down that it did not even have a bench for changing clothes.

What a wonderful spring and river and campsites were great. Only complaint is that it would be nice that someone would fix the boardwalk and all the stuff thats enclosed by fencing because of deterioration and decay.

Beautiful spring to swim in. Especially like the hammock racks at the spring to hang your own hammock. Campground loop for tent only is nice. Kayaking run was spectacular

The staff here is always friendly and helpful both in person and on the phone. The facilities are immaculate. The cleanest campground bathroom facilities I've ever seen in 64 years of camping in private and public campgrounds. I also like it that is set up more for more primitive camping and not the giant RVs. The sites are nicely separated and surrounded by natural vegetation. Every year it gets harder to find good tent sites as many campgrounds are converted for big camper/RV full hook up use. Please preserve this more natural camping experience at Juniper Springs. I only have two recommendations. Get the float concession back in business. I know they are working on that but it has been out over a year, Second, can you turn the entrance street light to the HWY 40 side of the pole? In the dark and with the highway traffic it can be easy to miss the entrance. Placing the entrance light on the highway side of the pole will make it much more visible. Now coming from the west it is obscured by the vegetation until you are right on it. Coming from the east if you look far ahead you will see it briefly and then it will be obscured by vegetation until you are right on it. Coming from the west the dedicated turn lane is a big help. In the future a turn lane on the west bound lane would increase safety for those exiting 40 HWY into the park. Don't get me wrong these are just suggestions for you to consider. My stay here was excellent and this is my second year staying at the park. I will definitely be back. Many thanks to the staff who are doing a great job for the American public at the USFS Juniper Springs Campground.

Friendly and informative service at the check-in/check-out window, and the campsite and nearby restrooms were very clean when we arrived. The campsite was a decent size and it's also great that they're dog-friendly. The nearby springs area was very pretty and there is a watermill there as well!

The boils and spring are amazing. I was disappointed in the facilities. We visited in December and it would have been nice to have warm showers. The showers are the type that you push, stay on for a bit and then turn off. Fans were running in the bathroom making it even colder. The water was barely warm. The cleaning of the bathrooms did not seem to take place as frequently as we experienced at the state run parks. I was also disappointed in the fact that the trails shown on the maps were not open. I was confused about the trails as they were not well marked. This park has the ability to be a great place, the company in charge of running it needs to step up their game. Many of the structures appeared to be falling apart and were marked off or fenced. The staff on site were very friendly and knowledgeable and at least one person, Terry, has been there for a long time so is your go to person for information.

The springs were beautiful. Our campsite was great and close to the bathrooms, which were always clean. The only complaint would be that it appeared that all other campsites had the grill over the fire pit, along with a grill and ours did not. It was a great time and my kids especially enjoyed the cat hanging out in the forest near the bathrooms, which they named Tree Bark. Cell reception with Verizon was good but AT&T had no service. We had a great time and will be back again!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
