My girlfriend and I stayed in a tent spot, had great access to restrooms, public areas and more. Spot was clean and well kept and even had the luck of having an armadillo visit us in the night. Great people and great place!

One of our favorite campgrounds, always happy to go back there.

We have been visiting Juniper springs for an annual Thanksgiving camp out for 35 years. This year was less than expected in terms of the upkeep of the facilities. We have witnessed a slow decline in keeping up with maintenance and repairs. We have also seen management come and go. The present staff on site rates 5 stars from Denise at the gate to Bryan in maintenance. Tropical loop bathroom had issues with auto shut off valves in both mens and womens. The skullery wash room did not have hot water and stops under the sink are long overdue for replacement. Most sites could use asphalt repair and smoother transitions without walking and tripping over roots and eroded pull through areas. Also new this year was having to pay the extra night for checking out on Saturday. I understand the two night weekend policy but it seems a bit much when staying 7-10 days. Maybe some of this is forest service responsibility so I will forward this to our contacts at Lake George Station.

It is a great campground and most state parks are in very good condition. Nice showers and clean bathrooms. This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds in Florida. Most hiking trails were closed off due to construction. Very nice campsites, and fun to swim in the water hole. Kids were too young to go canoeing, but glad to see that is still available.

The campsite map doesn't accurately show the bathroom location as campsites that look to be near the bathrooms are actually directly beside and are illuminated by the bathroom light all night. So close that other campers walk through the site to the bathrooms. Also, a tree trimming crew with three trucks and what seemed like ten lumberjacks with chainsaws joined us for breakfast. Not peaceful at all!

We had a great time. Park was quiet, very clean bath houses. Staff was friendly. We did not take advantage of the swim areas due to cool weather

Top notch springs/swimming area, campground, and facilities in general. Friendly staff. Excellent boardwalk trail needs to be repaired/replaced and reopened (walked it anyway)! Only downside was Florida Man looking for where he left his campsite by driving his loud pickup around late at night.

This is a very pretty little campground. The grounds and facilities were clean. I always enjoy it, however, none of the trails, except for the Florida trail were open, due to the boardwalks still (it's been a long time) being fixed. Whoever is in charge of this needs to step it up. I don't know if it is a lack of funds or manpower, but several years is ridiculous. Also, we had some overly loud campers setting up one night, after 11pm, but that was a minor annoyance. Overall, this is a lovely park and I will be back.

Adventure Ocala is a private own company now running the park. They posted there will be a new $8.50 charge for campers to use the dump station. They also want to charge campers to use the canoe, kayak, or stand-up launch. This is the first campground I ever heard of it. The previous company kept the canoe run open which was nice. The best boardwalk is blocked off because of poor maintenance. Sorry to think the work the civilian conservation corps put in to building the park is falling away by the wayside. Not sure I will be back.

Wonderful campground, beautiful springs, great staff, but my electric bicycle was stolen from my campsite. If that hadn’t happened, I would have given 5 stars to the experience.
