The campsite was great. It was an amazing place! The kayak trip was so relaxing and peaceful. Its was a four hour trip the springs are beautiful and we were treated to seeing otters early on morning in the big spring area. Highly recommend visiting this area.

Beautiful recreation area, camp site are well maintained, clean shower and restrooms. Kayaking at juniper run is amazing and you can rent kayak at the general store.

Well maintained campsites and restroom/shower facilities, friendly staff - and this time of year (April) not crowded.

The staff was always available and well informed about the area. Bathrooms were spotless and showers hot and clean. We even had Sandhill Cranes come and land in the field. Went to Lake Apolka and had a ball photographing birds.We will be back.

The campground is very strict about rules due to bears but it is a very nice layout and the springs are very pretty. There is no power or water at the sites but water is spread out around the campground. My family really enjoyed the campground overall.

Had a great time at Juniper Springs! Been coming here for 20 years and it hasn't changed a bit.

In spite of giving the recreation area just three stars I have to begin with the positive. Nice sites, clean bathroom, friendly personnel. That said, the boardwalk is closed and in disrepair, the spring area closes at 5.30. The canoe staging areas has no canoes for rent. The picnic shelter is closed, the store is closed. The concessionaire services were good but the National forest service seems to be sorely lacking. We saw no rangers in our five days there. There were no ranger programs. And it is too late to blame this all on Covid.

Such a beautiful area and the springs were amazing. LOVED this campground. Such a great place to stay with all the amenities you need.
