Great staff, very helpful. Campsites were spacious and separated. Springs and activities were wonderful.

We opted to reserve a spot at Juniper Springs towards the end of our overlanding trip in the forest as we got caught in hunting season. The spot served as a decent place to park for the night, and offered a safe spot to shed our equipment and venture onto some OHV trails. I wouldn't recommend this place for people that want a serene and private camp, but it's a decent place for the price. The showers were clean, the neighbors were respectful, and the spring was a nice place to say that we saw. We weren't bothered by staff and at all, but we were comfortable enough to leave our things in our designated spot which was a cool perk. Sand 40 was closer to the bathhouse than the map suggested, so we had a constant reminder of others throughout the night and day as people went in and out of the door. I've never met a door that was so loud, but to have facilities outweighed the annoyance. I read some of the other reviews of some of the pitiful complaints, but I didn't seem to experience anything really worth complaining about. Then again, I'm used to pooping in a hole so this place felt like a Marriot.

Absolutely visit this park!Extremely well maintained sites and grounds. The facilities are clean and taken care of. Every staff member we met was all smiles and a pleasure to speak with. The spring itself is wonderful and refreshing. Stop by the on-site store for fire wood, smores box or ice cream. We hiked the Florida trail up until hidden pond, highly recommend it! Site #40 was great and had trail access to bathrooms but, I am not sure it would be a dry site in heavy rain.

The campsite was great. Close enough to the restrooms but not on top of it. Site was well managed. Close to part of the Florida Trail. The spring was busy but still nice. The kayak/canoe launch wasn't open during my visit. I've been told they will resume in mid May 2022.Expect ticks in the spring. They were everywhere, but it is the woods, what would you expect?

Rules are posted but not closely followed. Spring is a must visit. Loud campers at all hours and barking dogs can be an issue. Restrooms are clean but void of warm water.

We stayed on site # 40, which had a dangerous step down from your car to the tent area. Since we were both seniors this was very hard for us. We asked to move to the empty site 38 across from us and were told it had to be done on line.

Great place to camp. Unfortunately the kayak shuttle is still closed.

Nice campground, quiet, clean restroom. Be aware there are no hookups. There is an incredible, 7 mile kayak trip down a tiny creek. This is not for kids or beginners. The spring is nice. Biggest complaint: we were the only people other than staff that were wearing masks.

We love it there. Bathrooms are always clean and the staff are very friendly. We keep going back. My husband loves to see the stars at night because of how dark it is there.
