Nice campground.

This campground should be in the record books for best designed. The springs are gorgeous. My complaints are due to lack of maintenance. The Forest service is letting entropy have its way with the boardwalks. A beautiful new gorgeous chain link fence surrounded the pavilion next to the springs themselves. This is a huge eyesore. Just tear it down if you arent going to fix it. Do the paddle. But take your own canoe paddles. Way too tight and overgrown for kayak paddles.

The campground was excellent - private sites, quiet and nice bathrooms and trash facilities. Unfortunately, the underfunded forest service has beautiful but damaged walkways through the forest that theyre unable to fix due to finding.

Love this place, so beautiful. I recommend doing the kayak on the spring.

Almost all of the trails and boardwalks were closed and in disrepair the first weekend in November 2023. It was pretty sad to see this beautiful park in this condition. Our campsite had trash in the bear box upon arrival and also trash in the firepit. It was obvious no one on staff checked the campsite before we checked in. The restrooms were out of toilet paper at least once over the weekend. There was a family with a screaming child that could be heard consistently over the weekend. We did not see any staff circling the campsites to check on anything. The swimming area was clean.

Very clean and getting better with the updates that they are doing.
Staff is excellent.

Camp sites are good sized and private (Sand Area) and have an oversized coated metal picnic table, a fire ring, a grill, a bear box and a lantern hook. Restrooms were clean, but small.

Friendly staff, clean & safe campsites in a relaxing setting. They are a bit close together but the trees offer sufficient privacy, just not as spaced out as other parks we have gone to but I get it is a popular one. Other parts of the campsite may be more spaced out, we were at 55 which again was a nice site and close enough to the bathrooms but not right in front of us. Would love to return, gorgeous locale. Bathrooms were clean.
