I love Juniper and so thankful for protected and preserved outdoor spaces that we can all share as a community. Juniper is a treasure and its soul filling to spend time there. Thank you!

Such a beautiful place to camp! We can't wait for our next family trip.

Beautiful location, great staff - the only negative park was the very loud street close to the campsite - annoying especially if you just like to dive into nature...

I personally chose this site because of the close proximity to the ONF Trail Entrance. There’s a small restaurant a few miles down the road for breakfast called Sparky’s Place. I was a little bummed to find that many of the nature walks and kayaking adventures were closed when I went. I would definitely call and ask before making a reservation there if that’s what you’re into. The campsites have a great layout, each with a large bear box and bear poles to elevate your food or trash. The campsites also come with charcoal grills and a fire pit with a grate for cooking. Overall it was a great experience and I can’t wait to go back!

It seems a lot of the features of the park are closed due to lack of maintenance. We’ve been coming here for years now and the place is falling into disrepair unfortunately.

My family and I enjoyed a weekend of camping. The camping facilities were clean and convenience. However, we were disappointed to find several areas of the park seemed to be in disrepair. The boardwalk was closed and it did not appear that repairs were happening anytime soon. Every picnic shelter was closed and wrapped with a chain link fence.
Tip: Bring your own fire wood. The bagged firewood available for sale is expensive and burns extremely quickly.
