Gorgeous sites! Very quiet. Appreciate the bathrooms and showers. Seems a bit expensive to not have outlets to recharge phones and battery packs.... Super critical for a Florida Trail thru hiker.

We stayed at site 60 and they had a massive tree about to fall on the camp site. I tried to move my site and offered to pay money and they still refused, so we got forced into camping on the walk way almost. Claimed it is pet friendly and you arent allowed to bring your animals anywhere besides tied up in your campsite. Will not re visit this specific spring, but I will always travel the ocala forest.

It was a beautiful park and springs. We spent 4 days & 3 night there. It rained 3 out of the 4 days. We were able to do some hiking. The two springs were awesome to view. There were 2 trails that were closed (unknown reasons). Some other attractions were closed too, no canoeing or kayak. maybe Covid related. It is unknown or unexplained. My only complaint is that the check out time is 1:00, we had an employee at out camp site at 12:45 saying the new campers for the site were already at the campground, (chek-in is not until 2:00). We were almost done, latterly putting in the last 2 camping chairs into the truck. She was not rude, but we felt rushed for no reason.

We will definitely be back, at another site. I will recomend this park for nature lovers, kyakers and beginning hikers!!!

We had a wonderful time. We just wish it had been a bit colder but its Florida. There was a couple that left the dish room disgusting but we cleaned it up. Thank you for a great time.

If your looking to get away and have some peace and privacy then Juniper Springs is the place to go. Nice private campsites, no electric but there is water, restrooms and hot showers. There is a beautiful spring and trail inside the recreation area as well.
