A sweet campsite with 9 or 10 different spots to plant a tent or two in among the trees. It is very close to beautiful Little Crater Lake, which is reached via a trail through the meadow nearby. And it is close to the Pacific Crest Trail in the forest behind Little Crater Lake. Beautiful. The campsite is clean, quiet, and has a pleasant ranger who welcomes people at the entrance of the site. The toilets are decent, with plenty of paper and a good distance from each other. There is running water at the entrance of the campground. There ws wind that night, so no mosquitoes to bother us.

The ground was kept very clean, the view was nice but it was cloudy so we couldn't see the Hood, but the lake was very nice. Site host came and greeted and gave us a piece of info sheet. The campground was very neat, out site was sort of small compared with the stay from a night before at Stone Creek and the distance among the neighbors was very short, there were trees but noise from them was pretty obvious. Bush toilet was clean, plenty of toilet paper. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Made reservations in the spring, got multi confirmations via email. Arrived to find a couple in our spot who said the spot was open so they took it. Luckily we went to another camp site nearby called Clackamus, which shares the campground host with Little Crater Lake. She found a spot for us. Alls well that ends well, but we didn't get to stay where we wanted.

A small, unhosted campground that is adjacent to the Pacific Crest Trail, a mountain bog, and of course, the little Crater Lake. The sites were large - lots of space in each site. Some sites were mostly unshaded but my site was full shade. The "lake" is a bit of a tourist attraction with many cars parking in the small day-use parking, walking to the lake, and then leaving. Fire ban is in effect so no campfires. Must take your garbage out.

We stayed in spot 7 and it was absolutely perfect! We were close enough to the bathroom to not have to worry too much about the kids getting there, but far away enough not to smell it. The short trail to the lake is directly across the street. Views are breathtaking and only 1/2 mile hike on the PCT to Timothy Lake. My favorite campground in Oregon, so far.
