The water tasted like iron so bad that even Kool aid didn't cover it up, also turned orange if let set for a few hrs. Camp is in bear country, but the dumpsters were regular city dumpsters. Bathrooms not maintained well. For $25/night the campground is not worth it.

An excellent small campground. Creek was beautifully chilly. Shady and some sun in spot 12. Clean bathrooms and quiet campers.

Clean campground. Bummer that we couldnt have a fire but its understandable with fire danger. Definitely bring bug spray. Creek is fun to play in but very cold, and there are fun hiking trails around the campground. Would definitely stay here again, the kids ages from 2-14 all had a great time!

Our site (12) was beautiful right next to the little creek and nice and shady during that hot spell we had. A short walk through the campground towards sites 8,9,10 brings you to a bridge and a nice place to cool your feet. Cross the bridge and go left to walk up to Still creek road. It's not much of a hike. We loved being so close to so many other things- got take out dinner one night in Rhododendron at Al Forno pizza- excellent pizza!!! They also have an outdoor area but was crowded so passed. Easy nearby hike from Frog Lake Trail to Twin Lakes. Played in the water at Lower Twin lake. Many families with kids- were backpack camping in.-great first backpack trip. No formal campsites or water. Camp Creek is also close to Mirror Lake and Trillium Lake where you can rent kayaks or swim. Timberline Lodge is a short distance away where you can ski until August and hike some of the PCT. Vault toilets and water were both clean at the campground. No fires were allowed because of fire danger. The only downside is that you can sometimes hear big truck noise on highway 26. it didn't bother us though.

Beautiful site, felt very secluded, each site is very large, the bathrooms are just pit holes and the water was a bit green. Camp hosts were gone when looking for fire wood.

Beautiful area!

The location was beautiful and the facilities were great. However, there was a pentagram on the ground of our site (made with sticks and pinecones) which strongly goes against my religious beliefs. I understand everyone has different beliefs, but if I pay for a site I don’t really want demonic paraphernalia on the ground. I encourage the host/manager to thoroughly check the sites to make sure stuff like this doesn’t happen again.
