Love Nottingham. Large camp sites, most next to beautiful river/creek. Clean restrooms. No drinking water, but that was clear in description of campground. Wonderful place to wind down and enjoy nature in electronic free environment.

No host but daily visits by staff and campground is well supervised. Great access to the river. Enjoyed the stay and conveniently located. Be prepare for no cell services at all.

Second year in a row here, we love Nottingham! So many large, private sites right on the river, beautiful, quiet campground with sounds of the rushing water at night. That being said, please don't be the jerk that brings an RV with a loud generator. There are no hookups, this is not that kind of campground and that amount of noise can really ruin the experience for others. We were fortunate to have respectful quiet neighbors, but walked by one situation like this and felt really bad for the campers around them. Not cool! Pit toilets were clean. No water available, you need to pack in your own. Dipped into the 30s at night in August, bring layers! Fire ban is in effect for good reason so plan accordingly. Camp hosts are friendly and were very helpful in directing us to the closest gas station when we needed to pump up a leaking tire stat!

Nottingham is an excellent campground. The campsites are sandy, level, and spacious. Most sites are right on Hood River. The bathrooms were only OK in the cleanliness department, but always stocked with TP. Not too much road noise especially with the gurgling river sounds. The closeness to Portland made it an easy, quick overnight trip! Sites 16, 17, 18, and 19 would be great to group together.

The camp host (maybe his name was James this year…?) and the supervisor guy named Steve and his wife are super nice and we enjoy camping here every year in part due to the hard work they put in. We appreciate them!

Con: too close to the road , Too much highway traffic Noise. Said our site was tens only, but. Our camp was next to an RV.
Pro: huge area. Next to a beautiful creek.
Clean bathrooms. Easy to get to.

This was a great site. We had access to the river from our site. We were also relatively close to both bathrooms on our side. The camp host is awesome.
