The campsite and camp host were great. There was a specific group that played loud music until 3am. They threatened several people and yelled obscenities when they were asked to turn it down. The police were called out (we did not call them and had not complained up to this point), and the group blamed us and threatened us with our small children there. The police let them stay and would not guarantee our safety so we had no choice but to pack up at 6pm and travel back home.. for this reason we will not return to Mount Hood. Recreation.gov has not responded to our refund requests.

Great place to stay during the summer. Caretakers were extremely nice. Lost my cell phone and they offered to come up to my site and help search with me days later. Always love staying here every summer.

The website is ultra confusing. I thought I was signing up for the clear lake camp ground directly by Clear lake I had made a reservation up by portland. I ended up staying at clear lake where I wanted to be and ended up contacting your office to ask for a refund and I was denied. I had a nice stay at clear lake - in the day use area. I will NOT be going back for a while. Its unfortunate that you were unable to refund me because I ended up staying two nights instead of only one.
