The place looks as though there is no camp host. I think because of this, no one is picking up trash nor cleaning the pit toilets very well. We have even reserved on line and show up to site and no tag with reservation name. Which means someone else could have taken our site. We stay 14-16 weeks every Wednesday from July through September, so we can definitely see the difference when there is no camp host to rake sites and pick up garbage. It seems as though the rate should be discounted if there is no one to take care of these things,

Enjoyed our stay at Tinkham Campground. Nice campsite leaves you feeling alone unless you decide to take a walk around the campground to see other campers. Beautiful trees lined our campsite! Traffic noise from nearby highway was a bit loud and drive into campground via access road was a bit 'lumpy'. 😀 Overall, I will go back for another visit.

Loved the private sites. Yes, traffic noise, but easy to get to. Much cooler & darker in the forest, nice to beat the heat of the day. Kind camp host and well maintained.
