Locals already know this (Im sure), but its crazy that such a wooded pleasant FS campground exists within an hour of the largest city in the PNW. We were able to take a quick hike along a portion of the PCT a short distance away, and make a day out of Seattle without staying in town. Toilets didnt smell the finest although werent filthy, and you are advised to bring you own water (mineral full hand pump located at the entrance). Served our purpose for a summer weekday excursion.

The campground was great; the only thing that sucked (like so bad) was the road to the campground. Those potholes might have been the worst I've ever seen.

only came through briefly to spend the night and leave the next morning. campground and bathrooms were clean. my biggest complaint is the constant sound f the freeway nearby. no honking cars thankfully but there was the constant hum of them driving by, even at midnight. the campground served its purpose as a place to sleep while passing through but i wouldn't plan a trip with this as the destination
