Beautiful setting. Campsites and roads were well maintained. Bathrooms were very dirty. Toilets covered with you-know-what and sinks and floors covered with dead insects.

This is a pretty campground with lots of shade. There is constant road noise from I-90, but you get used to it and it becomes a background white noise except when a semi is engine braking. The hand dryer didn't work in men's room #4 and the camp hosts were lax about replacing the paper towels that they provided for drying your hands. The bear boxes at each campsite are spacious and make food storage so simple. We also loved the number of trails that are accessible from the campground without having to drive to a trailhead.
Awesome last weekend at Denny Creek. Excellent camp host who was informative, helpful, pleasant but also tough enough to enforce the rules and provide realistic advice.
The walk to Franklin Falls is relatively easy and totally worth it.

I made a reservation on August 26th. When I got to the campsite someone was camping in our site. I talked to the camp host and they could not see our reservation there and said I was the third person it happened to that day. Luckily we worked out a solution, but it sounded like this was widespread for people who booked on recreation.gov. My girlfriend made a reservation for a site in a few weeks, and I hope this does not happen again.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
