Campground entrance is not clearly marked. There is a “one way” sign near the campground entrance that took us 3 miles up a winding one-way road which our only choice was to turn around and go the wrong way back down to get into the campground. A “Campground Entrance” sign would fix this. Sites are too close together, and site 14s tent pad is less than 20 feet from a brightly lit restroom. Also not the campgrounds fault, but there was a terrifying wind storm the night we stayed that downed a massive tree inside the campground right next to a tent, I’m talking inches away. This tree blocked the way we came in and we had to drive through cones to get out. Someone could have been killed. We left immediately at 4am along with multiple other families panicking and screaming. Hands down my worst camping experience in the PNW. I’d have asked for a refund from the campsite supervisor but we were busy running for our lives to get out of there before more trees came down. Beautiful campground, but needs clearer signage and some tree inspections and maintenance.
