Campsite was surprisingly degraded with not much foliage between campsites. We could hear road traffic most of the night and starting again early hours of morning all day.

Camp host was very helpful and answered questions quickly through e-mail. Bathrooms were clean, but could use some maintenance/updating. Loved that you could hike to Franklin Falls and hike the Denny Creek trails right from campground. Many other trails within an easy drive.

Campsites are great. Large tent pads. We were able to set up two one-person tents. Only issue is the noise from the freeway (I-90). We were woken up several times during the night because of incredibly loud trucks traveling up the pass. Other than that, wonderful campground. Bring earplugs for sleeping and you will be fine.

My favorite place to camp, huge campsites and privacy. Campground and nearby hikes are all beautiful. No need to get in car, all walking distance. Host that’s been there past few years is amazing and very helpful. My family camps here every summer for 7 years now.

I thought the noise from the freeway would be a big issue with how close it was to camp. Fact was, the noise was not that bad. Occasionally a truck going down the pass would use its engine brake and that would be loud but overall, not bad. The noise from the river during the high run off time we were there was louder than most anything else.
I wanted to do more hiking but snow still blocked some trails up higher. I did hike the nice loop trail from camp to the waterfall, a pleasant hike.
The campground is very thick wooded and with it being in a valley of the mountains, the sun is minimal at camp. We knew that would be that way though.
We camped in site 6 and I would camp there again if in the area.
