This beautiful campground features heavily wooded, well separated, large sites. Some sites are river front with rocky beaches. The wonderful 2 mile Franklin Falls trail starts here. Hike it! The campground sits in a valley between the north and southbound I-90. The noise of the trucks is hard to ignore, which is why it only gets 4 stars.

Quick drive to many great hikes, along with the hikes that leave from camp. Enjoyed our stay.

I have been to Denny Creek campgrounds several times, and always enjoy our stay. The falls trail is in great condition, and the new parking lot is huge cutting down on the campgrounds car activity. It was rainy on this visit, but it's always fun regardless. There are new tables where needed, and bear boxes for dry food storage.

My pup Bill and I stayed 3 nights, we had a great walk to Franklin Falls and enjoyed meeting some great people and pups. My camp host was great, very friendly and approachable. See you next year!!

A wonderful campsite in the woods about an hour from Seattle! Super convenient to get to from Seattle - makes a nice stopover point for longer trips.
You can hear some road noise but as someone else said, it kind of blends into the background. Tons of trees and of course the creek. If you can get a site near the water, you'll enjoy the blanket of white noise that running water provides.

Great place to stop on a long road trip. Better for RVs than tents due to the surrounding freeway noise. This was the first place I ever camped: with my family in 1961. Same river, same trees. Still a beautiful place even with the changes near by.

Denny Creek is a very nice camp ground. One of a handful where 95% of the sites are 5 star. very beautiful & roomy. Very nice camp hosts, and they do an great job of keeping the place clean. the river is along the grounds, and a fun trail to the falls near by. Can be noisy, it is by the I-90 freeway, and was mostly noticeable at night in a tent, my previous visits had been in a camper where I didn't notice the traffic noise.

Beautifully located and laid out. Literally below a freeway but a million miles from anywhere. Nice spacing between sites, perfectly maintained, and good firewood for sale. Hike to Franklin Falls is an absolute must, and less than a mile eachvl way. Good T-Mobile voice and text coverage but very very slow data speeds.
