Well-run, clean, well-designed. The access to great hiking trails is wonderful. I could see stars at night. The only wrinkle was the road noise- it continues 24-7, even during the pandemic. I never quite got used to it. If you don't mind background noise (and it's too variable to be a good white noise), this place is for you.

We really loved our spot, even though all of the sites on the river were booked ours was just a few minutes away from river access. Of course we hiked the trail to Franklin Falls with it being right along the river starting in the campground. It was as beautiful as always. We also drove to some near by trails and lakes, a little googling and we found all sorts of stuff. The closest grocery was just one exit down the freeway, we went for ice because I need a cold soda by the fire 😁. As far as the grounds themselves, I would say they are very clean, and surprisingly quiet. Very relaxing. We even had a couple little chipmunk friends come visit. Definitely remember your bug spray, the mosquitos are out! Also bring a roll of tp just in case.

Great campground for kids and adults, people drive very slow, camp hosts keep up on the facilities and maintenance of the property. They offer a lot of great spots with lots of room and some have creek access. The creek is shallow and great for small kids to play in.

Very clean campground and bathrooms. The rangers were very nice and friendly.
