It’s a nice camp ground and the white river is great, but a bit challenging to access. Sites are packed in close though, and it’s right on the highway. Add in a nearby shooting range and it makes for a very noisy, busy place.

The Recreation.gov site said this site was closed, despite my not having received any indication that my reservation has been canceled on your end. So I called, talk to three different people, who all confirmed that the campground was closed until June 26. I sent an email asking for a refund for the pre-payment I had made, and of course, because the campground was CLOSED, didnt go. On that Sunday, I received a response to my email saying that the campground was open, and that I had checked in, which I most assuredly had not. Because I was told on numerous occasions, and by your own website, that it was closed. Im just so irritated about the lack of communication. I wouldve been happy to have just made it a donation (which it appears Im forced to now anyway, since you wont give me a refund) had you been even the slightest bit communicative. But now Im just disappointed and annoyed.
