Great camp host, $8 firewood available, and the toilets werent terrible. Easy to find and great spot. Some roadside spots are very close to the highway though

Our stay at Dalles Campground Aug 9-13th was not what we had expected. We've stayed here in the past and have enjoyed it however this time left a bit to be desired. Several of the restrooms were closed and those that were open were full and ran out of TP. The campground was also out of firewood. Many campers were unable to have fires since there was nothing available in Greenwater either. The General store in Greenwater is closed during the week for Covid precautions. One last problem is that there clearly has been a problem with people doing their "business" in the areas between and behind campsites as there was TP littering the forest. What happened to leave no trace? Please take care of your trash!
