Great views of the white river. Close to several stunning hiking spots. 30min range

We loved this campground. It was so quiet and peaceful. Its also pretty close to Mt. Rainier National Park, about a hour to Paradise. Although the campground only has vault toilets they were very clean and didnt smell. We were also pleased with our site (45). It was big and spacious, plenty of room for our tent. There was a river nearby that the kids loved playing in and it was nice to hear the river at night. Make sure to get a site on the river side. About half the sites are on a busy highway. You could see and hear the cars zooming by.

There are fun trails right at the campground. The campground was very clean and the campground host made the rounds regularly. There were a lot of kids shouting and having fun, but it quieted down when it got dark. Beautiful setting, peaceful after dark. Pretty mellow during the daytime too.

We had a great time! The camp hosts were so helpful and personal! My family and I felt safe, the campground was clean, as were the restrooms! There were no free roaming dogs, and all the other campers were respectful and nice. I will be coming back again and again!! Thank you Recreation.gov. for having camp hosts like these!!

We love this campground and return every year sometimes several times in a summer. The hikes are wonderful in the area. The park host is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Also we like that we are able to reserve sites that were typically not reservable in the past. One thing Id like to mention is that the online park map doesnt give a good representation of the angle or depths of the campsites. This is mainly for campers with trailers, but it would be nice to see a more detailed online campsite map.

The site was nice and private enough, a large space for the tent, and the ranger was super nice. Great place close to Rainier!
