Really nice campsite with flat ground near the river. Just out side the park which was nice to be able to have a fire in fire pit

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I even stayed an extra night, moving to another available campsite. Both river side sites, one right at the top before the drop to the river, which I could walk down to. The second was even more spacious. I felt like I had my own private forest behind my tent. I found a perfect set of trees there to put my hammock up.
The short hike that goes past the downed “big tree” was very enjoyable, with access to the river at one point, with areas of fine sand and river parts shallow enough to wade in.
The camp hosts were available if needed for any questions.
It was a much needed reprieve from the current insane world.
I’d return here for sure. 🌞

The host was very friendly but the space was nowhere near the stated size for an RV. Even with a backup camera there was no way my 24 trailer was going to squeeze in the assigned space without damage. I was unable to stay as I had planned and there were no other open sites.

Nice, quiet campground. Pretty surroundings with a beautiful river nearby. Camp host was very helpful and pointed us in the direction of a fabulous hike to a nearby waterfall. We had a great time and was over way to fast. Will book a site again in the future.

Huge site and road noise was minimized by the rushing sound of the river. Perfect!

The campsite was large with great views of the river; really well maintained with multiple flat options for a tent. The campground overall was pretty quiet even though it was at full capacity for the weekend, which was nice. There's also quick access to a few hikes/waterfalls without having to drive anywhere.

Beautiful site on rivers edge, high bank so difficult to get down to the river.quiet campsite ( off season)no hookups so need a generator for extended stay. Lots of mice....Beautiful short local hikes at either end of campsite through heavily wooded forest. Gorgeous local scenery and hikes at Sunrise and Paradise (Rainier) Saw deer, bear and mountain goats....lots of rainy days , so excursion to Yakima to dry out .stop at the bat caves! ride the Gondola at Crystal Mt ski area to get a fantastic view of Rainier and other local peaks...take in a Seahawks game at the Naches Tavern...had a great time, will be back!
