Beautiful destination. Enjoyed hiking around and fishing in the river. 100% recommend.

Well maintained campsites, everything was well stocked and clean. Host was welcoming and knowledgeable. Beautiful setting along Troublesome Creek and the North Fork of the Skykomish. Highly recommend the short loop hikes around Troublesome Creek, good for the family and pets.

Lovely spot once you get there. Spotless toilet every day and drinking water - Thank You! Most enjoyable Nature Walk with great bridge. Fine bridge also connecting 2 loops of Troublesome Creek. Thank you for these assets. Only 4 stars because the FS access road 65 was in unpleasant shape. FS Road 65 has been broken about 6 or so miles north of Index and 17 miles from Skykomish Rangers office for over 15 years. There are several excellent hiking trails using the unpaved FS 65 - including to the PCT. I have used FS 65 very many times over 40 years and it is tedious at best. Also - it would help to install a few FS65 markers along the road going in and out - cars frequently get confused when alternative choices intersect.
