The pit bathroom was always clean! The camping site is really quiet and the specific camping that I was in was close to the lake.

Planned to stay at site #24 but paddled out to Anderson Point instead. Views were great but access into the lake was difficult with eroding dirt shoreline, so not great for ADA access.

First time visited. Stayed in Lot 24. This was literally the last spot at any campground within 2 hours of us I could find. But it didn’t even matter: this place was absolutely lovely. The lake water is so beautiful! Very quiet place, though several of the RV campers nearby were large groups and quite loud when they’d get together. Nice trail to hike up and down. I was also thrilled to learn from AirMap.io that it’s outside of no-drone-fly zones, so moving away from the campsite a bit (because always be a respectful operator!) I was able to get the Mavic up during golden hour for amazing shots of the nearby mountains and the lake. We ended up leaving a day early just because the nights were so cold and -damp- but otherwise we loved the site.

Absolutely no cell service until we drove about 10-15 miles back toward town, so keep that in mind if you need to coordinate with others. My wife and I are both on Google Fi (so connecting to US Cell, T-Mobile/Sprint), her on a Pixel 3XL and I on an iPhone 11 (so I’m locked to T-Mobile), and got nothing.

Last I’ll respond to the other reviews by people who stayed recently complaining about the toilets: while we were there, the pit toilet buildings we used were very clean and stocked despite having been about three days since service. Maybe we got lucky. But no complaints there. It’s just important to do your part: wipe up your messes, get the paper in the hole, prop open the door when you leave, etc.
