Good clean site. River was a dream. Lots of cool hikes nearby. Love that there's no cell coverage. Feels good when the phone becomes a mere camera.

Nice little area wish there was more hiking closer. Most of the sites aren't actually on the main river.
Also most of the sites are not private at all. Toilets are okay Just happy there were some.

Had a great time at Red Bridge Campground over July 4th weekend 2021. We had campsite 8, with lovely river access (though the water level was so low that there was just an ankle-deep pool to splash in right next to the campsite, with the main body of the river a few hundred feet away. There is unfortunately nothing between campsites 8 and 7 for visual privacy (really wish there were some bushes or something), but they're quite a ways apart, so it wasn't a huge deal. The site on the other side was closer but had bushes as a visual screen. Also no trees appropriate for hanging a hammock at site 8 (all either too far apart or too close together). Someone far in the distance (not even sure if it was within the campground) was playing music at night, but it was faint at our site (I wore earplugs to block it out, and it didn't bother my kids at all), and I was pleased that everyone seemed to be respecting the ban on fireworks. My kids (4yo and 7yo) and I had a FABULOUS time exploring the river bed and walking across the giant fallen tree to the other side of the river (it's so big it's practically like walking on a sidewalk). The tent pad was huge (I'm guessing 10ft x 16ft?), and the bathrooms were clean and stocked with toilet paper. No firewood for sale at this site, but we were able to get some at Verlot campground (about 7mi away?). We'll be back sometime!
