The campground map was likely created 20 years ago and since then the river water has eroded the bank significantly, cutting off what would have been useful square footage. The website says that there is a 25 person max to the campground. We had 16 adults (no kids) and that was probably the most the space could possibly fit with room to move about during the day. There is no way this campground would sleep 25 people. There are only 2 built camping pads, each pad could fit an 8 person tent. We had 8 smaller tents and were forced to utilize a lot of drive way space to place those tents. We also had 8 cars that needed to be parked on the highway and at the front entrance of the campground. An optimal group would be 8 adults with a couple of kids. No room for any campers or RVs.
Also, be aware that there is minimal if any easy river access. This might be different pending different river flows throughout the year. But the river water while we were there (4th of July) was right up against the embankment. The other side of the river had a lovely shallow area. We got crafty and created a tow rope across the river so that people could enjoy the shallows and reduced current on the other side. Not optimal for little kids.
If you moderate your group size and account for river crossing this campground is awesome. I hope this helps with making your decision.
