The cost of camping continues to rise. For the price paid to camp in an area with zero services, no hookups or water where is the money going????? Why is a contract company being paid to run the campgrounds if they are not keeping them serviceable. Road to the campground was horrible with many very deep potholes as well as miles of washboard which rattle your vehicle the entire time. The tent pads are very neglected with rotted timbers and large roots growing in them. For the amount of money they charge to camp they should at least be grading the road and installing new timbers and sand for the tent pads. A few of the picnic tables should have been replaced probably 10 years ago, they are rotting. Would be good to the money being spent by people used to actually maintain things.

Great campground with easy hikes by the river, and many more challenging hikes if desired. All within walking distance.
