The group site in A was spacious, with five tables and multiple fire pits that we used for cooking. We felt set back from the other campsites, which is perfect for a large group.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Only issue was a sullen young man had a large German Shepard on the waterfall trail. The dog lunged at me. The dogs leash was dragging on the ground. The guy said it was an emotional support dog.A BMW driving woman took her golden retriever into the womens restroom. No one else could enter until they were done.

I have always wanted to camp here in the fall and it was beautiful! I've been camping here with my family for over 25 years but this time I camped solo.

Stunning campground. Great hiking, quiet atmosphere, limited rv spaces--more geared for tent camping. Beautiful!

This was our second trip to Ohanapecosh Campground this summer and we had an absolutely fabulous camping experience both times. Both of our stays were in A loop right on the river and it was a pleasure to see how much the river changed from swift and cold in mid July to a gentler flow in early September. The best sites in the campground are definitely on the river but the location can't be beat for exploring the whole park. Wonderful hikes right in the Ohanapecosh area and easy, highly scenic drives to both Sunrise and Paradise. Recommend!

This campgrounds made our familys annual camping rotation. It is, hands down, one of most beautiful campgrounds weve ever visited. The rest of Mt. Rainier National Park is just icing on the cake.
