The campground itself is beautiful, the river is breathtaking, and the staff we encountered were kind and knowledgeable.

What an incredible location. The site (loop H site 007) was perfect, but a little higher off the road loop and not super close to other sites. The forest sound feels so muted but other voices and sound can travel a lot because its so quiet from the leaves and plants. Some groups nearby were laughing and talking loudly enough to be bothered but we went to sleep pretty early so they quieted down eventually. The bathrooms are pretty basic but definitely seemed like there were several for easy access from any part of the campgrounds. I did not have cell service (Comcast Xfinity) at the campsite (fine by me! but good to know). Its about a 45 min drive to the Paradise lot we left camp around 5:15am to beat the crowds and because we hadnt been able to get a timed entry reservation ahead of time, and were able to enter the park and get a parking spot without a problem. Highly recommend doing that if youre able to and if youre planning to visit during the peak season. Would love to come back! :)

H7 is a great campsite. The campsite itself is on high ground, with forest to the back of the campsite, so it was private. Not sure about the campsite fitting two cars though, we could only fit one. The campsite can easily fit two large tents. High tree cover.Check when the campsite visitor center closes, for us it was 5pm. Silver Falls trail from the campsite is okay for a campsite trail, but I would rather spend the time doing Myrtle Falls or Narada Falls. There is no phone signal at the campsite, but full bars at Paradise if needed.

We stayed in loop H site 7 am last minute and it was an awesome site! One side was completely open to the forest and the other side had a site that was more than enough distance away. Clean facilities. Zero cell service for us, so plan your next day hikes ahead of time : )

This was a nice campground for visiting Mt Rainier. We had an excellent spot so extended our stay one night. Ranger very friendly and open early like 7:30.
