Site D6 is close to the river, but completely open to site D5. Next time I would want to reserve both sites to have someone I know next to me. This site is close to a STEEP river trail that leads down to a nice quiet spot to relax. If you can navigate the trail, you have a nice little private beach of your own to read a book and catch the last sun spots of the day.

I love this campground because of how close it is to many trails. At times the campground is quite loud...and many of the spots are not private. But, I am on a mission to find a list of the campsites at Ohanapecosh that feel private (to me)...because the area is just so beautiful and amazing.

This drawback of this campground, like many I went to this summer...is that there were SO MANY empty spots that said reserved. I saw many spots that I would have LIKED to camp in...but they were reserved and NOBODY showed up. So sad that other humans are doing this. It's not that hard to cancel a reservation online. I mean, if you aren't gonna camp...cancel and release your campsite for others to experience the beauty and mental health benefits of being immersed in the outdoors.

Camping site was clean and restrooms well stocked. D6 was a very nice spot overlooking the river.

Our campground was surrounded by a river and beautiful stream with cascading water. The area was gorgeous and serene.

Sites were well cared for and bathrooms were clean (flush toilets)!
