Although the campground was beautiful and well maintained, the experience was ruined by the massive amounts of people coming in and looking for open campsites all day. The area around the ranger station was dangerous with cars parked on every spare inch waiting to get a spot. The ranger station would be better placed farther up the road, away from the camp sites. And possibly better communication to the public that specifically all of the FF sites are full early in the morning, and driving loops around the campground all morning are a futile attempt at getting a spot.

Very beautiful and the campsite was well taken care of.

Fantastic campground! Not very buggy during our trip either. There is some construction/road closure on the road leading to campground but luckily we didn’t get caught in it! About 45 minutes to Paradise.
