We camp here every year twice this past summer. People like camping spots for various reasons. My plusses for Sloway are:- campsites are nicely separated from each other- bathrooms are clean (thanks to Don and Yvonne, camp hosts, who are now moving on to a different location after 6-7 years at Sloway)- there is available wood for fires - access to the Clark Fork River- good picnic tables- access to St. Regis or Superior if you need more ice, food, or have a hankering for a huckleberry milkshake- cell service if needed why camping- not overly crowded during the week days- play area with volleyball and horseshoes The minuses are:- noise from the interstate; I-90 can be noisy with trucks at all hours- the train; tracks are just across the river so the train is close; the necessity for conductors to blast their horn at crossings results in startling loud wake-ups in the dark of night (oddly, I personally do not mind the old timey feeling compared to the highway noise)-often full on summer weekends

Campground is great. Beautiful location next to the river and about 7 minutes from both St. Regis and Superior. The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is because the interstate is located very close to the campground and you can hear it. Its not unbearable but is noticeable. As well as a a frequent railway nearby. Again not unbearable but noticeable. Im overall a great place to stay if you are in the area.
